Karel Kovar
Skating Director
Coaching and choreography since 1989 in Slovakia,
Leningrad, Germany, and Minnesota. Completed Gold
Freestyle, Gold Figures, and Gold Pairs. Placed 2nd
four years at Czechoslovakian National championships
in singles and in pairs. International competitor.
Graduate from the Institute of Physical Culture,
Leningrad Russia Sport University with emphasis in
sorts medicine, choreography, and off-ice
conditioning. Professional show skater 3 years with
Holiday on Ice and 5 years with Disney on Ice
performing principal and understudy roles in Pairs
and in Singles. Performed in 2002 Opening and
Closing Olympic Ceremonies. |
Amanda Kovar
Assistant Skating Director
Coaching and
choreography experience since 1990 in Minnesota,
Wisconsin and Michigan. Completed USFSA Gold
Freestyle, 7th Figure test, and Gold Dance.
Placed 5th in gold round and US National Precision
Championships. Professional Show Skater 4 years with
Disney on Ice performing principal and understudy
roles in pairs. Performed and trained with the
Minnesota School of Ballet for 6 years. 5 years
Power Skating experience with figure skating and
numerous hockey teams. Performed in 2002 Opening and
Closing Olympic Ceremonies.

Lynn Neil
Coaching
group and private lessons for 3 years, completed FSA Gold Freestyle, Gold
Moves and Pre-Gold Dance. Regional competitor,
placed 2nd in Intermediate Level. Skated in several
shows. Experienced in Freestyle, Dance,
Choreography, and Power Skating. Rachel
Neil
Coaching
Learn to Skate since 2004. Complete USFSA Novice
Moves and Juvenile Freestyle. Performed in Jackson
on Ice Show and various other ice shows. Volunteer
for Special Olympics. Experience in choreography,
power skating and artistry.
Letitia Ahrensback
Coaching Learn to Skate since 2004. Completed USFSA
Intermediate Moves and Freestyle. Trained at the Ice
Castles International training Center. Performed in
the Ice Shows including Skating with the Utah Ice
Theater for 3 years. Experience and training in
various dance styles and techniques. Red Cross
certified instructor.
Kelsey Willden
Coaching Learn to Skate and private lessons for six
years. Regional and National Competitor at the
Senior level. 2006-7 US National Collegiate Bronze
Medalist. USFSA Double Gold Medalist in Moves in the
Field and Freestyle. Solo performer in multiple Ice
Shows. Experience in coaching technical skills,
testing, competition and show program choreography.
Meaghan Fors
A coach of group lessons
and private lessons, Meaghan has passed Intermediate Freeskate and
Intermediate Moves in the Field. She is first aid
and CPR certified.
Jessica Nakaoka
A coach of group lessons
and private lessons, Jessica has passed Juvenile Freeskate and
Intermediate Moves in the Field. |

Coach Certification and Registration
Beginning July 1, 2008, all coaches participating in
US Figure Skating sanctioned events must be
registered and certified with PSA and USFSA. |

Mariko Rollins
Coaching Learn to Skate and Power Skating for 5
years. Experience organizing, administrating, and
coaching skating and hockey clinics/classes for
youth and adults. Serving a second term as President
of Wasatch Figure Skating Club.
Natalie Brisighella
As a newly registered intern coach, Natalie will be
filling in with group lessons and clinics, and
working under coach supervision for program
choreography/dance moves assistance. She is a
professional dance instructor, is USFSA and PSA
registered and also a member of the Professional
Figure Skaters Cooperative since 2007. |
